My story

I am  a dedicated and committed artisan. Years of efforts have honed my craft of creating  imaginative and eclectic works for your enjoyment.  My focus lies in providing entertaining, thought provoking, and/or  informative works of art.

My history

As a college freshman I was looking for an avenue for my future. A dare put me on the path of a writer. After years of resisting the calling I decided it was better to be happy and poor than (rich or comfortable) and miserable. It was at this point that I began writing short stories and poetry. The market for the work seemed limited and truly speaking I wasn't getting challenged.  After the stint writing poetry and short stories I decided to venture into screenwriting. I spent a good portion of the next years trying to sell my work then producing my own works. It seemed almost impossible to get my work viewed. The lost of a love one showed me life is short so I began writing and self publishing my novels.

Through all of the above there were some small victories. Barnes and Noble had expressed interest in my books, but decided since I didn't have the backing of a publishing house they would only place them on their website. I refused. A VP at Showtimes gave me a pitch session for one of my finished productions, but was only willing to get me a meeting with acquisitions if I were to produce many episodes before hand. It was ridiculous to think that a struggling writer/producer could afford that kind of financial burden. Recently I received  a quarter finals award for one of my recent screenplays. This was one of the few contest I have ever entered in all this time.

The dream is still alive, but walking on one leg.
